About the event

Join us for a day of conservation efforts to work together to protect and enhance our local conservation park. Meet at the trailhead by the waste oil dropoff at the junction of Wheeler Rd and School Rd. Our targets for pulling and digging will be hedge parsley, burdock, non-native thistles, and sweet clover.  No experience needed. Tools and gloves provided. No sign up, just show up. Cherokee Marsh is the largest wetland in Dane County, Wisconsin. The marsh is located just upstream from Lake Mendota, along the Yahara River and Token Creek.
