About the event

NEW DATE AND TIME. Due to forecasted extreme cold, we have rescheduled this event for SAT, FEB 22, 10 AM - 1 PM. Thanks to recent snow cover, we expect to be burning the piles of brush we've cut in recent workdays at Madison Parks' Cherokee Marsh Mendota Unit. Dress for the weather. Wear cotton or other natural fibers that you don't mind getting small burn holes in, sturdy footwear, and work gloves. (Embers will melt synthetic fabrics.) No experience needed.

Meet at Meet at Westport Meadows Park, 4338 Beilfuss Drive. This park is west of HWY 113 and adjacent to Cherokee Marsh - Mendota Unit. Park on street.

Signup recommended so that we can contact you about any changes or cancellations. To sign up, contact Jan at janaxelson@gmail.com or text 608-215-0426.
