About the event

NOTE 9 AM START TIME. Thanks to recent snow cover, we expect to be burning the piles of brush we've cut in recent workdays in Dane County Parks' Cherokee Marsh Natural Resource Area / Yahara Heights. Dress for the weather. Wear cotton or other natural fibers that you don't mind getting small burn holes in, sturdy footwear, and work gloves. (Embers will melt synthetic fabrics.) No experience needed.


Meet at Cherokee Marsh Natural Resource Area, Caton Ln entrance, 5129 Caton Ln, at the intersection of Caton Ln and Riverview Dr, just off River Rd. Park on the street.
