Owl the Fun at Hayrides & Hikes!

Writer's picture: Sheila Leary Sheila Leary

October 19 was a beautiful Saturday for our annual Hayrides & Hikes event. Madison Parks staff provided the hayrides, treats, and lots of Parks information for all ages and interests. The Friends of Cherokee Marsh provided sign-posted nature hikes, a nature scavenger hunt (just seeking, no actual scavenging), nature info for adults, and fun owl crafts for kids.

We welcomed many first-time visitors to the park, including folks who signed up to receive the Friends newsletter.
